Details

With our MFD15 we bring the Can Bus into the 52mm display

THE MFD15 - KEY FEATURES

Best legibility thanks to OLED technology

freely programmable control units and OBD2 connection

FOUR analog inputs for additional sensors (oil temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure)

freely definable warning thresholds per sensor

integrated shift light LED - freely configurable

Sensors

  1. min: lowest value that has occurred
  2. min warn: Value from which a warning is issued if the value is undershot
  3. max: highest value that has occurred
  4. max warn value: value from which a warning is given if it is exceeded
  5. Beep: a tone is emitted when the "min/max warning value" is exceeded or not reached
  6. Popup: If the value falls below or exceeds the "min/max warning value", a popup window is displayed
  7. RefSensor: only when this sensor...
  8. RefValue: ... above this value will be warned
The values of analog sensors (0-5V) can be displayed correctly using 2-point calibration. For example, the correct oil pressure is displayed and not a voltage. You can also assign names to the analogue sensors - instead of AN1, "Oil pressure" really does appear in the display. In addition, the inputs can be activated individually via the "Active" option if you need them.

Shift light

  1. 8 values - each individually adjustable
  2. speed limits
  3. Colours
  4. Flash speed - the entire shift light flashes
  5. Shift light brightness

Warnings

In the displays themselves, values that have been exceeded are shown in red and values that have not been reached are shown in blue.

If a sensor is undercut/exceeded that is not currently displayed, the sensor setting determines what happens: popup, warning buzzer or just a small yellow triangle in the top right corner of the status bar.

Representation of exceeded and undershot values

Exceeding or falling below a sensor can be displayed in various ways:

1) Sensor is not in the current display: as soon as a sensor exceeds the set min or max warning value, an arrow appears at the top right (arrow up: max value exceeded, arrow down: min value exceeded)

2) Sensor is currently exceeding a value in the current display: Max exceeded (the number is red), Below Min (the number is blue)

3) Sensor is shown and has exceeded a threshold value in the past: a triangle appears next to the sensor (arrow up: max value exceeded, arrow down: min value exceeded)

4) If a sensor has been exceeded or fallen short of, you can see exactly which one in the sensor settings

The MFD15 is delivered with:

  • Display (MFD15)
  • Rotary knob with 0.5m connection cable
  • Adapter cable for connecting 12V and updating the display
  • MicroUSB data cable for updates
  • Connection plugs for analog inputs and Can Bus
  • 20cm pre-crimped connection cable for Can Bus, analog inputs, 5V and sensor ground
  • Pins to crimp yourself
We have developed our own firmware for the MFD15, which queries data directly via OBD2 Can Bus. You have to set the speed (250kbit or 500kbit) yourself. Furthermore, the display automatically recognizes 11bit and 29bit identifiers.
With our OBD Plug and Play cable, the connection is made directly to the OBD socket. In addition, only the 12V supply has to be tapped with the enclosed fuse adapter.

The following values are read out:*
  • Speed (RPM)
  • engine load
  • Fuel pressure (FuelPressure)
  • Boost pressure (MAP)
  • Vehicle speed (Speed)
  • Ignition angle (IgnAng)
  • Intake temperature (IAT)
  • Air Mass (MAF)
  • Oil temperature (OilTemp)
  • Fuel pressure relative to intake vacuum (FuelRail)
  • water temperature (CLT)
  • Lambda1-8
