ST5 F ZERO Turismo Helmet - FIA Approved

TheStilo ST5F Zero 8860 carbon is the latest generation of helmets from this motorsport dedicated company who have made the ST5 range the world's most advanced racing helmets. It is the lightest helmet in its class and needs to be held to really appreciate the featherweight feel and quality manufacturer.

While the look is unmistakenly a Stilo the ST5 is the narrowest and smallest shell in its class, and in recent F1 tests is aerodynamically up there with the best. A first for Stilo is that the ST5 small shell now fits a person with a larger sized head, a feat all manufacturers in the past have been unable to manage, the outcome of this is drivers using a larger heavier shell to accommodate the Large size helmet, which is the most popular size.

The smaller shell size has a number of benefits for drivers in wearing the ST5, much lighter weight on your neck, better aerodynamics from and more room in the tighter spaces of a modern GT or Le Mans type vehicle.

The Zero model of the ST5 F with its FIA 3mm long visor and part fitted electronics, makes it ideal for racing when radio communication is required. Weighing in at 1.2kg has passed the tough FIA 8860-2018 standard, not just passed but well within the required tolerances - it also homologated to Snell SA2015 safety test making ideal for top-level competition in the US. While it's the safest helmet on the market, the ST5 Zero range is exceptionally light to wear when under the G-forces of a modern, high-performance race car.

The opening of the helmet is now 5mm deeper, offering far better peripheral vision. Drivers will also benefit from the new driver ventilation system for open-top cars, and GT/Saloon cars the ST5 F has a Top Air ventilation system for fresh air to the face and a new channelled head cooling system for even more comfort. 

Another major benefit for all model ST5 helmets is the interior. A double density liner offers an improved fit to give the user comfort levels never previously achieved. The super-soft liner next the skull fits snuggly around the head giving a positive snug fit of unparalleled comfort. The ST5 F has the option of a side drink system which allows an internal drinking system, but in addition, space has been made for a frontal drinking system through the lower front vents and needs no major modification and means no scrutineer issues.

The helmet comes with Stilo's part electronics, with a microphone built into the front chin section, and an earplug connection fitted directly below the integral comm port to the one side of the helmet for easy connection of your radio system. 

The helmet comes fitted as standard with a clear visor and comes with medium and dark tint options, also a top air system, front & rear spoilers and a Stilo Hans helmet bag.
