IMS products were founded 1967 by dirt track racer CH Wheat. CH’s goal was to use his racing knowledge to manufacture high-high-performance, off-road parts and accessories. CH recognised a need for innovate products such as extended-capacity fuel tanks and more durable shift levers. These were all products that were needed but no one was really meeting the demand of the market.

IMS products have been long regarded as a necessity amongst the best riders and teams in the world. As a result, almost every major off-road champion in the past two decades has used an IMS product.
