Introduction
Tegiwa Imports provide a variety of services related to the sale and purchase of Japanese cars and parts. Our most common services are listed below but if there is anything else you would like to discuss then don't hesertate to contact us.
Parts Sales
Tegiwa Imports sell a range of both new and used OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts. We also hold vast stocks of new and used aftermarket performance parts catering for most Japanese Honda performance cars from the 1990 CR-X SiR to the latest S2000. The Type R branded cars such as the EK9 Civic and the DC2 Integra are our speciality
Parts sold to UK customers are all sent using a next day courier service. For European consignments we use a road service which usually takes 5 working days. For US/Canada consignments we use an air express service which takes 3 working days. For larger palletised consignments such as engines, UK delivery takes 48 hours, and European destinations take 3-5days depending on your location.
Fitting Service
We are also able to fit the parts bought from us at our premises based in Staffordshire

Car Sales
Tegiwa Imports stock a varied selection of performance Honda cars from 1990's Civic CRX through to latest FD2 Civic Type R. We can also source any Japanese car to your requirements. Please contact us with the specifics that you require, we will be more than happy to assist you in finding your dream car.
SVA Testing & Preparation
Cars younger than 10 years, for example a DC5 Integra Type R, have to be SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) tested, to ensure that it meets modern European environmental and safety standards. The criteria and standards are set by the model report
We are able to SVA most vehicles and convert them so that they conform to UK requirement. For most cars this involves; converting the speedometer to MPH, installing a fog light, and generally making sure the car conforms to the model report and UK standards e.g. the tyres need to be kite marked and have speed and load ratings
Tegiwa Imports owns the model Report for the Honda Civic Type R (GF-EK9) which is available for loan at £300+VAT to private individuals, and to traders £250+VAT
For this specific car we can also do the full SVA, so that you get back a fully tested car complete with approval certificate for £850+VAT. For other cars please contact us. We offer a collection and delivery service too which again reduces the hassle for you.
